An article by Prof. Dr. Göktürk Tüysüzoğlu, a faculty member of our Department, entitled “Balance at Sea: National Parks and the Blue Homeland” was published in the Olaylar ve Görüşler (Events and Opinions) section of Cumhuriyet newspaper on 19 August 2026.

In his article, Prof. Dr. Tüysüzoğlu discusses the recently declared marine parks in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean within the framework of Türkiye’s and Greece’s approaches to maritime jurisdiction, sovereignty disputes, international law of the sea, and the Blue Homeland doctrine.
