Our Head of the Department of International Relations, Prof. Dr. Yalçın Sarıkaya, participated as a speaker in the program titled “Understanding Recent Developments in Iran from a Historical Perspective,” organized within the scope of the Academic Awareness Activities held by the Faculty of Theology of Giresun University.

The event, which took place on 4 March 2026 at the Ali Şir Nevâî Lecture Hall, addressed Iran’s historical background, its position in regional politics, and recent developments from a historical perspective.

The event concluded following a question-and-answer session with the students.
