The graduation ceremony of the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Giresun University, for the 2025-2026 Academic Year was held on 11 June 2026 at the Hacı Bektaş Veli Amphitheatre, with the participation of our students, their families, and members of the academic staff.

The ceremony commenced with the anthem of the Department of International Relations, followed by a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem. The opening speech was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Servet Ceylan. Subsequently, the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Yalçın Sarıkaya, addressed the graduates, congratulating them on their achievements and expressing his confidence that they would accomplish significant successes in the next stage of their lives through the knowledge and experience they had gained during their studies. He also extended his best wishes for their future health, happiness, and success.

During the ceremony, the top-ranking students of the Department for the 2025-2026 Academic Year were announced and presented with commemorative plaques. Umut Egemen İnan, who graduated as the valedictorian of the Department, received his plaque from the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Yalçın Sarıkaya. The plaque for the second-ranking graduate, Furkan Kaan Akgümüş, was presented by Prof. Dr. Göktürk Tüysüzoğlu, while the third-ranking graduate, Semih Kesik, received his plaque from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Kurt.

Having successfully completed a long and demanding period of study, our graduates experienced the excitement of stepping into a new chapter of their lives. The joy and pride of graduation were shared throughout the ceremony by our students, their families, and members of the academic staff.
